Told through a series of inherited stories, fragmented memories and recurring dreams written by Virginia Grise, rasgos asiáticos is a performance installation that explores the fluidity of borders and identities at the historic confluence of China, Mexico and the United States. A site-responsive multi-sensory installation for personal and political excavation, featuring installation design by Tanya Orellana, sound design by Daniel Gower, lighting design by Scott Bolman and stories told by Marlene Beltran, Elena Campbell-Martínez, Ofelia Esparza, Virginia Grise, Lydia Jialu Li黎珈璐, and Feng-Feng Yeh (founder of the Chinese Chorizo Project). Marlene Beltran, Lydia Jialu Li 黎珈璐, Omi Osun Joni L.
